"Ponyo"

Dear Mizuumi Club Members,

This week we want to do something different. With the movie "PONYO" out, we want to go view it. Instead of meeting for our "normal" club viewing, we are going to the movies. Here's the catch, you will have to pay for your ticket and...............................................................................................you HAVE to let us know if you want to go. We are getting the Lake vans and making the trip to Fiesta 16 Theaters for our little adventure. The movie begins at 7:40 so we will be leaving around 6:30. Tickets will be $7.50 WITH STUDENT ID.

Club Rush 09

We had a fun time at club rush and met lots of new students. The table was well staffed with officers, advisors, and members who always like to hang around (you know who you are :p). We had lots of goodies to show off and VP Cross’s great idea of cheering every time someone signed up for the mailing list was the hit of club rush. We have to do that every year!

Congrats to all of you!

I can’t wait to see what happens during Mizuumi’s 6th year. I’m looking forward to participation by the members and lots of fun. The planning for Mizuumi-Con 3 is already underway, and we’ll really get busy as the time for the con grows nearer. Last time, we had almost 1500 attendees, so I know we can put on a killer con here at OLLU. I also hope to be able to do some outings and other specials events as we go, so let’s get out there and have a good time. Banzai!
